My first big concert for 2024 and who better than RIDE and The Charlatans to kick of the year. I caught the 2023 tour opener this time last year in January 2023 but failed to get a press pass. This time around I got it and was able to capture the magic from the pit.

A few months ago I didn’t even know who the Sprints were. Then in November I caught them twice - first at Iceland Airwaves in Reykjavik followed by their US debut at Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right. The energy in those rooms could have launched the next space mission and I was left floored both times. Now they’ve released their debut album, Letter to Self, and it’s looking like 2024 will be the year this Dublin-based melodic garage punk band breaks big.
